Description
El Malecón de Samaná is one of the most emblematic spots in Santa Bárbara de Samaná and is the busiest place in the city due to its cafes and small outdoor shops. The beach strip is located along the Avenida de la Marina just a few minutes away from a shopping center and Los Haitises National Park. El Malecón has different places to sit, as well as green areas and gardens. The surrounding premises are made of wood and painted in different bright colours.
During the day and especially at sunset, the Samaná boardwalk is an extraordinary place from which you can enjoy the best sunset and the best views in the city.
