Description

Isla Catalina is located about 100 kilometers from Santo Domingo. Visitors usually take a boat from La Romana, a journey that takes approximately 30 minutes. This island is known for its beautiful beaches and mangroves, as well as its rich marine life that inhabits its crystal-clear waters. With an area of 16 square kilometers, it is the second largest island in the country. One of the most popular activities among tourists is diving, as its waters are home to two of the most fascinating dive spots in the country.
