The National Park Cueva las Maravillas, known for its main underground cave, is located in the province of San Pedro de Macorís. The cavern is 25 meters deep and extends along 800 meters, housing ancient drawings and pictograms created by the Taíno culture. One of the main attractions of the place is an artificial lake that acts as a mirror, reflecting the upper part of the cave. The natural beauty of this protected area and its easy accessibility make it one of the most impressive natural attractions in the country.
