Description
Los Tres Ojos, located in Santo Domingo Este, is one of the most impressive tourist destinations in the country. The cave houses three lakes inside, with a fourth lake located outdoors. Among these crystal-clear waters, the coldest is known as “La Nevera” because it is the least exposed to the sun and, at 5.4 meters deep, it is the deepest. The other lakes are called Lake of Sulfur, Lake of the Dams, and Los Zaramagullones. The latter is located outdoors and is characterized by its lush vegetation and the presence of native ducks.
