Las Galeras Street

Las Galeras Street (the main street / Avenida Playa Grande of the district) is the central urban road of the coastal town located at the northeastern tip of the Samaná Peninsula. It is mostly paved and features a mixed commercial and residential profile. Along and near the street are the main beach (Playa Grande / La Playita), docks for excursions to Playa Rincón and Frontón, as well as restaurants, hostels, and tourist services oriented toward visitors.
